Health and Wellness

Minnesota tops the list of healthiest states year after year. UnitedHealthcare, the country’s largest health care provider, is headquartered in Minneapolis Saint Paul and BlueCross and BlueShield of Minnesota employs approximately 5,000 people, providing health coverage to more than 2.7 million members. Minnesota also is home to top-notch medical research facilities – Medtronic, Boston Scientific, 3M, Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Minneapolis Saint Paul provides its residents with an abundance of health and wellness options, from more intimate clinics, such as Southeast Asian Healthcare, to cutting-edge research hospitals; it’ll be hard to stay sick for long.

The Minnesota Asian American Health Coalition is another example of our state’s dedication to health. Comprised of Asian American and Pacific Islanders from a variety of health professions, this group works to promote and ensure the health and well-being of the Asian/American community in Minnesota through advocacy, outreach, research and education.
