Family

Minneapolis Saint Paul is one of the best places to raise a family according to Child magazine. We received praise for excellent air quality, a high number of teachers certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards, plentiful biking and walking paths and a variety of educational family activities.

Minnesota also achieves strong marks for education – ranking among the top states for quality K-12 education by Education Week.

For extracurricular educational opportunities, there are more than 100 libraries located within 15 miles of both Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Each city is home to two museums accredited by the American Association of Museums. And the renowned Minnesota Zoo and 110-year-old Como Park Zoo bring some of the world’s most fascinating creatures to us.

Educational family fun, we know best. Budding scientists or nature enthusiasts explore the Science Museum of Minnesota and the Minnesota Children’s Museum. History buffs visit the Minnesota History Center. And early theater enthusiasts or actors-to-be are mesmerized at the Children’s Theatre Company. And, the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum offers acres of foliage and flora for picnics and exploration.
